The AK 48 cannabis strain have been very popular since the mid 90s. Nirvana Seeds has produced a fantastic AK strain referred to as AK-48, which is a strong very early finisher. It has an Ice mom with beginnings in Afghani, Skunk, Northern Lights, and Shiva, while the dad is Jack Herer, a three-way hybrid in between Northern Lights, Skunk, and Haze. AK-48 combines the very best qualities of each moms and dad, like the trichome-covered, dense flowers from Ice, and heavy resin, special flavor, and early finish of Jack Herer.

AK-48 is fast-finishing, has thick, rock hard buds with a fragrance that holds itself. AK-48 keeps the wonderful Sativa qualities in its high even though it is primarily Indica. It can finish as early as 7 weeks if grown perfectly, but expect most plants to finish around 9 weeks.
AK-48 grows best in dirt with natural fertilizer to promote the best tastes. This strain is perfect for a sea of green yard, and is recommended to grow 16 plants per square meter, then cutting each plant to about 6 branches and the top to enhance your yield and bud consistency. If the flowering phase is started at around 20 inches, ak-48 will grow into a medium sized plant that will become two times as tall. It has small, fragile and thin leaves, which stand for the Indica in her genes. You can grow AK-48 outdoors well in climates that resemble Spain where it will complete in October. AK-48 is a great choice for beginners and advanced raisers alike, due to its hardiness and is able to recover from even the most amateur of errors, however in the hands of an advanced raiser the complicated buzz and severe yields will keep them coming back for more.
