Did not receive my order. Three weeks later (no seeds) so I contacted TN. They said that even after paying $22.63 for shipping (my assumption was for this amount they would package the seeds so they would get through customs) that I did not pay an additional $15 for insurance so they will not send new seeds and are keeping my $88.78.
I don’t know if they even sent me the seeds and customer service is useless.
Ordered seed from another seed back and received them in 5 days, go figure. There are better companies to order seeds from, don’t make the same mistake I did.
I mailed cash to true north seeds and did not get anything, when I sent email asking for explanation I did not get a reply, I had tracking on the order I sent in stating it was received and still nothing
WARNING BEWARE ! truenorth seeds will rip you off . i ordered 22 seeds . x20 shortstuff seeds (Af) reg. mixed Autoflowering , x1 Canuk (AF) cheese , 1x Femaleseeds co. ww/bb . $85.oo not a bad deal right . NOT !!!!! What i ended up with is : x4 Shortstuff plants , x0 Canuk , x0 femaleseeds. because out of 22 seeds only 4 even popped ! so i just payed $85.oo for 4 good seeds that is $21.25 per seed. my germination process is 24 hrs in a glass of filtered water , then into the damp paper towel . room temp. 80*/82* . i will allow them to soak for up to 2-3 weeks . Truenorth’s reply is we don’t replace seeds. my reply is this. my next order will be for a Truenorth seeds T-Shirt . on this i will write “RIP-OFF SEED CO.” and i will wear it to every weed show in Colorado . it will not put you out of business , but it will cost you business and why more then what you “RIPPED ME OFF FOR”
Im glad I didn’t see all the negative reviews before I ordered or I wouldn’t have ordered. As it turns out it so far is the best seed company I have ordered from and Im old enough to have placed orders over the phone with Mark Emory a long time ago. I used pay pal and even so my seeds were sent to post office within 24 hours with tracking #. My seeds arrived 8 days later and I had 100% germination .I made another order which also arrived 8 days later. So far this is the best seed company I have used. I also like the free seed they include.
i couldn’t be more disappointed. I ordered and paid by e transfer, waited 4 days and they still had not accepted it. Called back on day 7 and asked why they had not accepted my money. They took a look and said they couldn’t find it and that I should cancel and resend the amount again. So i did and this time they accepted the money right away.
I sent an email to them asking for some kind of compensation for their error( a free seed would have done it) but I got a response the day after they took my money and they said” we cannot give you anything as the order is in process”
come to find out over 24 hours later that they had then just created a shipping label for my order, so they straight up lied to me saying that they couldn’t do anything to correct their errors, they could have but chose not to . Very poor customer service, extremely expensive shipping.
I will never recommend them as they suck so bad. 24 hours would have been plenty of time to give me one free seed for all my trouble.
I will end up getting my seeds but it has now taken 2 weeks and I live in the province beside theirs.
I have ordered twice from true north and never had ANY bad issues with them. I will say they are expensive, and shipping is super high, stealth was not great, but they shipped super quick and customer support was fine. Sorry so many have had a bad experience, mine has been great, just expensive.
Same here. Most (but not all) of their prices are on the high side and shipping is higher than any other seed bank I’ve seen but you can get some good deals if you spend some time looking around the site, comparing prices, and wait for one of their sales.
I’ve also ordered twice from them with no problems.
TNSB is filled with red tape and complications. As a Canadian resident, I wanted to simplify the buying process, by purchasing through a Canadian bank. Nothing could be further from the truth. I was lured by an email that offers %50 off Canuk seeds. However, after going through the process of buying I found that their policies on Credit cards and shipping were arbitrary and opportunistic. For example if you use a CC, they charge %7.5!
Being a resident of Canada will not limit their policy on shipping. Sending seeds within the country could cost as little as $1 in a bubble envelope. There are no border processes to evade. Yet they charge a flat rate of $20! By the time I got to checkout I realized that the %50 off, was offset by all of their immature policies. I can buy seeds from overseas easier and cheaper.
RIPPED????
I sent a money order for my seeds using a USPS money order. 6 days later I received a phone call stating NASB did NOT accept USPS money orders. They stated they would return my USPS money order,they have not. I have tried repeatedly to call,an answering machine stated that the mail box is full. I tried using their e-mail account to communicate with them and have to date received NO response. As of now..I have no seeds and my money seems to have disappeared. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !
